What you should know

Application deadline: When is it?

  • Fall 2010 application deadline is March 1.
  • Winter 2011 application deadline is November 1 (subject to space availability).

Applying: What do I need?

All applicants to a CEGEP, for any given DEC program, must have the Québec Secondary School Diploma or the equivalent including:

  • Secondary V Language of instruction (English or Français)
  • Secondary V Second Language (French, Second Language or Anglais, langue seconde)
  • Secondary IV Mathematics
  • Secondary IV Physical Science 
  • Secondary IV History

Evaluation of applicants: What happens after I apply?

The admissions committee will review your application. They will consider the following:

  • The overall average of both final Secondary IV and Secondary V term results.
  • The performance of the student in each program-related and/or prerequisite course.
  • The performance of the student in each required English/Anglais course.

Acceptance: When will I know about my admission?

Acceptance letters are sent out by the end of March.  

Tuition: How much does it cost?

Marianopolis is a private institution and receives limited government support. Tuition is about $4,000 per year for Québec residents. Tuition is tax deductible on both federal and provincial tax returns. Click here to find out more.

Financial Aid. Where can I find out about scholarships and loans?

Don't let tuition stop you from coming to Marianopolis. Support is available and you have a lot of options, from the College's tuition credits to government student loans and bursaries. What happens after I'm accepted?

Orientation! Don't worry, it won't be one of those endless boring info sessions. You will meet your new classmates and professors, check out your new digs and start your post-high school life. You'll learn how to register online and tons of other stuff. All of this takes place in May.
