Science
Pure and Applied Science
As a Marianopolis Pure and Applied student you receive the best preparation for university studies in the pure sciences and engineering. Our Science and Math faculty are experts who take the time to help you outside the classroom. They support all Science students, even those who are not in their class that semester. As a result, year after year Marianopolis students have the highest average R-Scores in the province and are accepted into their first-choice programs in the world’s top universities.
As a Marianopolis Pure and Applied student you can take enriched courses, choose from a wide variety of electives, from Digital Electronics to Differential Equations to Technical Drawing, and use sophisticated machinery such as the College’s more than a dozen telescopes. And if Computer Science is your thing, you can take up to five courses during your four semesters at Marianopolis!
If you decide that Health Science is more to your liking, it is very easy to switch.
Who Should Take It?
You, if you want to be part of a tightly knit community of learners, who are supported by caring faculty who have an open-door policy and who spread out the exam period over three weeks instead of two, making finals less stressful. Motivated classmates, cutting-edge equipment and engaging extracurricular activities round out this exceptional educational preparation.
